Now mainly playing classical guitar and violin - after taking up learning classical violin at a mature age, and spending a couple of terms playing in an orchestra, the love of pure acoustic music in a beautiful space has become the main enjoyment and inspiration for compositions, along with revisiting classical guitar.

Over the years, Dave has been a member of bands 3-Legged Frog (psychedelic rock, with drummer John Lezana and Paul Cook on bass), The Questants (playing Dave's singer-songwriter compositions, with Mark Griffiths on percussion and Mark Saunders on Bass ), Quiet Wish (duo and band), Spriggan Mist (early incarnation, writing a few songs including Faery Queen, The Park, London Town and co-writing Spriggan Dance), Achilles Heel(various genres), South Hill Park blues jammers, Anchor Folk Club and some folk performances, and various other music projects, as well as a stint with Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra. He was also the main force behind the Quiet Whistle Test (QWT) project (2015-2019), where local performers were invited to play and be video'd in a "house concert" setting.

All older music and videos, including for the bands above, and all the Quiet Whistle Test (QWT) project videos, can be found at David J Lambert YouTube Channel.
